Romance. Mystery. Thrillers. Rock stars. Glitz, glamour and intrigue. Breathtaking page turners and heart-tingling happy endings. That’s what I like, and that’s what I write!

The Rock Star Romance Trilogy

Join girl-next-door Sophie and rock star Dan in a journey spanning nearly ten years and see how their romance blossoms, falters, reignites and changes with time. Laughter and tears, comedy moments and moments of heat. Will they get their happy ending?

Be enchanted by the Rock Star Romance Trilogy

Curl up at Christmas with a Rock Star…

Spirits of Christmas...Part 1: Spirits of Christmas

Be prepared to be enthralled, spooked and uplifted by this rock ‘n’ roll adaption of Charles Dickens’ classic “A Christmas Carol.” Will Jude see the error of his ways when a succession of ghostly rock legends pass through his bedroom?

And who are the ghostly legends? Are you prepared to take a guess? FTNY_Cover4

Part 2: Fairy Tale in New York

New York. A restaurant near Park Avenue. It’s early evening, and dusk is falling. So is the snow. Jude and Carrie are merely killing time while they wait for their return flight to London. They don’t know yet that their life will never be the same.

Step into this magical Christmas tale for seasonal good cheer and a feel-good happy glow.  You might just find yourself humming some classic Christmas rock tunes when you’re done…

 More Rock ‘n’ Romance:
Fallen for Rock

FFR_Cover9forPaperbackEmily Trenden doesn’t like rock music. She’s a classical kind of girl, and a glossy, sophisticated woman with a high-profile job in the City. Evidently she gives her boyfriend, Nate, the boot when she realises his goal in life is to become… a rock singer and guitarist. Good riddance, right? But in fact, she’s made a huge mistake. Huge.

When circumstances conspire to take her on tour with rock band phenomenon, MonX, her life turns upside down. Nothing’s ever going to be the same after Emily falls for rock…

A Seven Years Bad Sex Curse? You’d better believe it.

7yobs_front-300dpiIt takes Alex and Casey a while to wrap their heads around the fact that their honeymoon is anything but, and that married life has turned into a bit of a… dry zone, shall we say. They’ve been afflicted by a curious inability to have sex, and nothing they try seems to break the spell. Believe me, they try a lot. There’s nothing they don’t try, in fact. You will laugh, you will cry, you will find yourself breathlessly rooting for Alex and Casey and you will share their frustration. But how will it end? I’ll leave you to find that out for yourself…

 Nicky Wells

Yup. That’s me! 🙂 And I love rock music. I adore rock stars. They turn my head even today, when I’m supposed to be a responsible grown up (and mum to two boys).  Let’s face it–who could be a better romantic hero than a golden-voiced bad boy with a soft heart doing magic up on that stage?

My favourite bands include Bon Jovi, Europe, FM, Heart, Whitesnake, Led Zeppelin, Foreigner, Muse, AC/DC… the list goes on and on. I’ve always wondered what would happen when the girl next door (me?) meets a rock star. And that’s why I write what I write. Dive in and share the dream!

  1. Love your Sophie books! And just discovered and downloaded Spirits of Christmas. A girl after my own heart!

  2. All looking very professional Nicky, love this. Good luck with everything. 🙂

  3. Purchased Fairy Tale n New York and stayed up until I finished reading it. Loved it Nicky. Reminded me of New York when I’ve been there on tour – doing PA’s all over the city and gigs etc. So cold!! And yes, we got bumped off a flight which had been over-booked and spent it in the airport freezing cold. No Ray came to our rescue. Good yarn. 🙂

    • Aww thank you so much, Jane, you know this means the world!! 🙂 Appreciate your review on Amazon too, you’re an angel! X

      • I am a lousy reviewer I know but I really enjoyed it and have the dark circles under my eyes to prove it. Burned the candle at both ends to finish it. Thanks so much for your kind words, every little helps. I know folk who are saving it to read at Xmas so I have to be patient. If you liked this story you would have loved Dreamer (In A Word: Murder)- a murder (in the band) in that one! 🙂 You are a star. 🙂

  4. Thanks for popping over to my blog today. Fab seeing you there again. Are you up and about again, writing, resting or what? Any new books on the way? Missed you 🙂 xx

    • Aw bless you for missing me! I’ve been around on and off but you know how to reach me! Life’s been a bit hectic so social media has been taking a little bit of a backseat while I produce more books. I’ve been reading your blog even if I haven’t been leaving comments. You rock, Jane!
