It’s Music Monday!

NewMusicMondayLogo

Wishing everyone in the UK a Happy Bank Holiday Monday on this fine morning. At any rate, I am going to be an optimist about this!

I’m posting a song today that’s been on the radio for a while. It’s by an alternative rock band from London whose lead singer is called Dan. #Justsaying. And just for the record, let me point out that I started writing the Rock Star Romance Trilogy long before this band ever came into existence. Still… It’s a nice fit, isn’t it? And I happen to adore the voice and the song.

There you go. Wasn’t that fab?

Have you got a song that’s an after-the-fact accidental and-probably-not-perfect-fit with your mood or your work but that captivates you nonetheless?

  1. Hi Nicky
WELL [singular not “plural” 🙂 ] since you decided to post a song that’s in some way connected to your writing I felt I should do the same thing. Long before I even dreamt of writing, especially a YA Paranormal romance this song had been on the radio while I’d been the 2nd or 3rd grade in school. The song deals with something which is close to our hearts; and something we need to include as we write our books. I’m sure you’ll see the connection I’m referring and will also enjoy listening to it.

SNEAK PEAK: I’ve interviewed Nicky for my blog for next week, So stay tuned for the link. 🙂 🙂 🙂

    • Woohooo! 🙂 And thanks for the plug, Robin, I’m excited to visit with you next week. XX

      • You’re quite welcomed. And don’t forget I’ll have a surprise for you then that’s in some way connected with your trilogy. I know you’re busssssy and excited about your interview with me that you forgot to comment on my selection for this week. 🙂 🙂 🙂

      • Robin! Doesn’t a ‘wooohoo’ give you feedback enough? XX What’s not to love about Book of Love? 🙂

  2. Sorry about that Nicky. The way I first read it, I thought the WooHooo! was connected to the interview as well. Oh well, I’ll take a seat in the corner until it’s time to get your interview posted, and for me to search for another musical response to your next musical selection. 🙂
