Yes, you read that right, except I cheekily left some words out of the title. The whole thing should have read: I’m off to try and help make Lincoln Inspired a huge success! 🙂
Introducing: Lincoln Inspired
“And now we have it, Lincoln Inspired: The First Edition. It contains all the elements we had hoped to include, like books, art, comedy, theatre, music, conversation, stuff for schools and advice for aspiring writers, and a few things we didn’t anticipate (like a Dalek).” ~from the Lincoln Inspired home page

Lincoln Inspired is Lincoln’s first community art festival taking place from 7 May until 12 May in various locations all over Lincoln, and there is something for everyone: music lovers, dance lovers, book lovers, authors and aspiring writers, children, schools… It’s an amazing collection of events and you can check them all out in the full programme: download it here!
I’m Taking Part!
“Our Lincolnshire Literary Life”
8 May, 1pm – 4pm
Here goes….
Is this totally awesome or what? If you’re in the area, why not pop in and say hi? I’ll have books and swag upon my person and who knows… who knows… I might just burst into song for a couple of lines. I’ve got a reputation to uphold after all!
And when I’m not there in an authorly capacity, I’m planning on checking out various of the events throughout the festival. I’m quite keen to meet the Dalek, for a start, and I have my eye on some of the sessions for children to. Not for me, you gather, but for the offspring! 🙂
I’m really looking forward to being part of this awesome new festival. Grab all the news here:

Rock on!
This sounds fantastic! Unfortunately, I live a little too far away (Portugal!) at the moment. Good luck!
LOL, Suzy, you are excused!! Thanks for visiting and commenting though, and it really does sound exciting ~ it’ll be GREAT!!
Excellent! What a great day it’s going to be. Wish I lived a bit closer 😦

I know, me too! XX Maybe next time… 🙂 Thanks for commenting, Sue! X
This sounds fantastic. I’d walk over from Pittsburgh, but my wellies have a hole in them. Have a wonderful day!
I will do, Steph, and I wish you could be there. But it is a looong way… longer than Suzy’s even! Thanks for commenting though, and on your release day too: you rock! #TheFallenStars XXX 🙂
Say hi to Claire Kinton for me, Nicky! You’ll have a fab time. I’m doing the Droitwich Fair so you can let me have some tips! Good luck! 🙂 xx
Will do, and will do, and thanks for the good wishes! Love that you could stop by, Sheryl, you rock! 🙂
How exciting! Aren’t you quite the local celebrity! The boys must be really proud of you, well done and have fun.
LOL, I think the boys are beginning to find the whole mummy-author-always-off-doing-stuff-thing juuuust a bit… tedious now, bless them. But yes, they are proud (I think!). Thanks for your lovely comment, Marina! XX
You are going to have a fabulous time! Sell zillions Nicky!!!
I’ll try! (Need to find a big enough suitcase to bring zillions in the first place, LOL). Thanks for visiting, Linn, wish you could be there! X
Looks fun and so interesting. Have a great time, no doubt you will report back. 🙂
You know me too well! I shall! 🙂 Thanks for your lovely comment, Jane. 🙂
Sounds like a wonderful time! I’ll be with you in spirit, Nicky, as I’m a wee bit too far away here in Canada to pop in and see you “live”. 🙂
I know, more’s the pity! But thanks for your support anyhoo! XX 🙂
Just picked this up Nicky after four days in Chester. Have a fab time and sock it to them!
