In The Deep

Morning, all!

It’s the last day of the half-term and my OH has taken the day off so we can have a family treat. We’re off to THE DEEP in Hull. If the Humber bridge is open for visitors, we might even venture across ~ or partway across ~ on foot. So this is kind of a non-post just to let you know why I’m not posting anything more substantial. I am, in fact, taking the day off! Back to normal next week ~ I’ll see you for Music Monday. Have a great weekend…

  1. Have fun and take lots of photos…I love all these trips people have and the photos open up a whole new world to those who have never ventured there. 🙂

  2. Looks like a fun place! Have a great day and hopefully, you’ll get the chance to get out onto the bridge, too. 🙂

    • We did, Mel! I wanted to walk all the way across (it’s about 1.4 miles) but my husband suffers from acrophobia and so, apparently, does my Mum, so we didn’t make it very far. It was most impressive though! Wishing you a rocking weekend! xx

  3. Nice to have a break once in a while. Smell the roses!

    • Lol, Anneli, more like the oilseed rape ~ there’s A LOT of that about in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. But yes, it was fabulous to take a day off and now I don’t feel like such a guilty mummy anymore either… XX

  4. Hooray for time off! So important, Nicky!! Sorry I’m not keeping up with each and every one of your posts now, but I’ll continue to try to pop in as often as I can! Love your work! 😉

    • Not to worry, Jo, I appreciate each and every time you pop by! I know exactly what it’s like and am wishing dearly for an extra 10 hours in the day myself! XX
