I love your schoomarmish look with the glasses – very professional editor!
LOL! Yeah well, sadly it’s a sign of being increasingly chronologically advanced. It’s either wearing glasses for work or tolerating monster migraines on a daily basis. I pick the glasses. I didn’t even realise I was wearing them when this photo was snapped, otherwise, I’d have *coughs, embarrassed* taken them off. Hey ho, the truth will out!
Woo hoo! So excited for this book. Hurry up, the 30th of June! 🙂
Hi Nicky
I can remember the day I received my proof copy of my first YA Paranormal romance novel “I Kissed a Ghost.” I ripped open the envelope, opened the book to the middle, stuck my nose against the pages, and inhaled the luscious aroma of the fresh ink. I still can remember the exhilarating feeling I got knowing I’ve just become a published author.
Have you done the same thing?
Do you still get the same sensation with each new novel?
Enjoy the upcoming weekend with your family !!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Yes, and yes! That’s why I said… the excitement never wears off, ever! LOL! Have a great weekend you too, Robin! 🙂 🙂
I know this will be a great hit!
Dein Wort in Gottes Gehoergang! 🙂 XXX
For sure!!! From my lips to God’s ears.
Indeed. I never quite know how to translate this one, LOL! XX 🙂
Usually we say, “From your lips to God’s ear.” But it was interesting for me to see it in German. I had never heard it and didn’t know it was used in German too.
Now we’ve both learned something. Ah, isn’t blogging awesome? Thanks, Anneli!! Lips, God, ears and all. XX
You’re looking very scholarly there in your glasses, Nicky. Looking forward to your release date and blog tour.
Ha! Haven’t felt scholarly for ages. Gosh, this is totally ruining my reputation!! LOL! Thanks for stopping by, Melanie. XX 🙂
