Born To Run! Music Monday Takeover by @BookwormBrandee

It’s Music Monday ~ Takeover!

MMtakeover

Welcome to Music Monday! It’s the school holidays and I’m taking a break. Last week, I encouraged you all to submit suggestions for rocking songs during the Music Monday Takeover season. Well, the suggestions just kept rolling in:

(1) How Far Jerusalem – Magnum
(2) Fantastic Place – Marillion
(3) Alone – Heart
(4) King of Spades – Dare
(5) Ramble On – Led Zeppelin
(6) Long Live Rock ‘n Roll – Rainbow
(7) Back in Black – AC/DC
(8) Run to the Hills – Iron Maiden
(9) Born to Run – Bruce Springsteen
(10) RESPECT – Aretha Franklin
(11) Layla – Derek and the Dominos

…. and I had to deploy random.org to make a selection.

RandomOrg

That makes it… Brandee‘s choice!
Woohooo way to go, Brandee, what a great song!

Music Monday Takeover continues!

Last week’s suggestions have gone straight back in the hat, and I’d like to invite yet more of your ideas. Don’t be shy! I’ll let random.org help me out again with the selection so it’s like… the Music Monday Takeover Ideas Lottery.

Go on, come and play!

  1. Hi Nicky,

Today I’ll be extremely brief. With all the songs listed and the various artists involved in singing them there is only one song I can think of which sums up how each of these songs came into existence. ENJOY

  2. Great song! ‘Just wrap your legs round these velvet rims and strap your hands across my engines’ – ooh! Have a great holiday Nicky. xx

    • Well yes… indeed! Glad you enjoyed the song choice, Karen, and lovely to see you back!! XX

      • Karen Soutar

Lol, you know me, couldn’t resist quoting one of the saucier lines! I didn’t know if you’d receive that comment, as the computer chose that moment to play silly b*****s! 😉
