Highlights and Resolutions: Happy New Year!

It’s 2015! Isn’t that amazing? 2015. Two thousand and fifteen. Fifteen years into the 21st century. The very notion seemed light years away when I was but fifteen. It was the other side of the great millennium divide after all. And my, has the world changed! When I was fifteen, we had mobile phones the size of bricks, and texting hadn’t been invented. The Internet was but a nerd’s secret dream. Televisions still contained cathode tubes, and cars were driving with all sorts of really unhealthy fuels. And yet that was only a few short decades ago. Weird, huh?

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all! May it be a fabulous one that makes all your dreams come true. 🙂

Here’s the year that was for me, my own personal highlights.

A fabulous rock concert–the kids’ first!

The Big Rock Gig--the boys' first--and we loved every minute... Especially when Europe delivered The Final Countdown!

Family time: Building the family gingerbread house. Priceless moments!

One Gingerbread House, all done and dusted. Literally and liberally dusted with icing sugar. That wasn't in the instructions, but we like to improvise. We're very proud of our little gingerbread house!

And of course the Christmas time was full of more priceless moments, including seeing the children’s carol concerts (one in Lincoln cathedral, no less), a hilarious panto, and a fabulous family Christmas. I feel truly blessed!

Thank YOU for all your support throughout the year. I loved every email, every tweet, every Facebook share, every message, and every letter you sent me. They keep me going, and I love hearing from you, so please stay in touch! 😀

And here are my resolutions for 2015.

~Spend much more time with the family and enjoy every moment of that precious time right down to the tiniest second
~Slow down, breathe, and focus on the things that matter
~Write and publish at least one book
~Take up singing lessons

There you go. Nothing too ambitious. After the manic few years that I’ve had of late, I think I owe myself a stock-taking year, and that’s exactly what I have in mind.

What about you? Any highlights and resolutions to share?

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year… and I’ll see you in 2014!

Hello, you! It’s Monday, and that means music here on Romance That Rocks Your World! It’s also 23 December (wow!!), and that means it’s nearly Christmas. It’s the end of one heck of an eventful year for me ~ and for all of you, I’m sure. 🙂

So I’d like to party and wish you a Merry Christmas in true rock-chick style…

…plus wishing you
all the very best for 2014!

And now… I’m taking a little break from blogging until early 2014.

Expect me back some time in January or February! Thanks for all your support throughout this past year, for all your lovely comments, your enthusiasm, and all your tweets. I couldn’t do this without you! When I’ve caught my breath and finished up my latest WiP (#FallenForRock, remember?), I’ll get back to my normal blogging self.

Until then… party hard, stay safe and rock on!

Lovey’all. XXX

Happy New Year!

Hooray, it’s the start of another year. I love new beginnings!

Wishing you all a
