This is the special “playlist for 7 Years Bad Sex” series. Today is a royal instalment, and it’s an epic choice!

Just imagine. Casey and Alex are on their honeymoon. Newly married. Excited. Loved up. Except… the romance doesn’t work out. Not at all. It’s a hard life, right, to be two people together? This song totally captures the emotions of my two leading characters towards the middle and end of the plot.

Love in an elevator…

Welcome back to Music Monday!

This is the special “playlist for 7 Years Bad Sex” series. I’m kicking off with the mighty Aerosmith: are you ready?

There is indeed an elevator~or rather, a lift, as I’m writing in British English~with special significance in 7 Years Bad Sex, although outright romance is not committed in it. At least not right in it.

All at once, the lift shuddered and stalled, and the lights went out.
‘Oops,’ Alex yelped even though he was mid-song.

So. A stalled lift. Whatever happens next?
