Fanciful Friday

Happy Friday, folks! I’m not actually online this week at all. I’m taking a break! Outrageous notion, I know, but even rock-star rock-chick authors need complete downtime sometimes. Or so I’m told! 🙂

Thus I’m pottering about the house and garden and entertaining the kids while womanfully restraining myself from checking email, FB or Twitter, and I was thinking… where would I go if money were no object? If I could just go absolutely anywhere right now, this very minute?  Introducing:

Fanciful Friday!

Where would YOU go?

🙂

Back online next week… see you then, and rock on!

  1. I would go back to the USA, hire a muscle car and do a road trip, visiting more cities and states. Yay!

  2. Hi Nicky “The Invisible Woman” Wells,
We haven’t heard or seen neither hide nor hair of you since you made your quick post on Monday, as it appears you must have taken a fanciful trip yourself these past few days.
When you asked us if money was not a question where not a question where would we go, I’ve got to assume you want us to take our OH[s] with us. And since you want us to be fanciful about it, I will, and give you my usual type of answer, a musical one.

I guess I must have pulled the proverbial rabbit out of the hat with this one for you and your readers this time. I just love the mellowness of this one, hope everyone will as well.

    • HAHA, Invisible Woman Wells, I like that. More like radio-silence though, right? Glad that you noticed. That means I make enough noise to be noticed when I *am* around, LOL. Great song, all dreamy! Thanks for visiting and commenting right through my absence, Robin. I’m back in action as of tomorrow!

  3. Definitely back on a cruise! We’re planning for four years time but if I could go now … Hope you’ve enjoyed your break Nicky x

    • Oooh a cruise! Yes, that, too, is on my bucket list. Looks like I’ve got quite a long bucket list, LOL. Four years will fly by, Shaz, and then I’ll look forward to hearing all about it on your blog. Rock on! XX PS ~ a cruise where? Do you know yet?

  4. I’d go to Alaska, hunker down in a cabin with some books, beef jerky and booze to see if I could brave the winter.

    • How very Grizzly Adams! (Was that in Alaska? I bet it wasn’t, I only ever saw the German dubbed version and I was so little then, I’m a bit hazy on the details!) I know exactly what you mean. I’d love to be snowed in completely in a nice, warm log cabin with all the mod cons and a stack of books one day, just to see what it’s like. Preferably with a howling gale outside! Thanks for commenting! I’m back from hols now and back in action soon, looking forward to hanging out on your blog again. Rock on, Julie!

  5. I’d climb onto a magic boomerang and ping off to the Maldives again and then bounce back to Iceland to view the Northern Lights from under the cosy confines of a blanket : ) Can you spin some magic to make that happen please? xx

  6. I’d really like to indulge in a grand European vacation, Nicky! I will get to Europe one day – but my grand vacation will have to be taken in pieces. 🙂 Hope you’ve enjoyed your week ‘off’!

    • Brandee, we should do a swap! I’d love to do the big road trip across the USA one day, that’s one of my biggest dreams. We could do a house swap, LOL. Now there’s a story waiting to be written… Ha! Thanks for commenting and I really hope you get your dream vacation soon. X
